Dr Sue Arnott - GP

When three other GPs retired within 18 months, Dr Sue Arnott became a full time ‘single hander’.

She now leads a multidisciplinary team including 8 sessions of ANP, practice nurse and others.

The team recognised there were pressures on their appointment system. They had grumbles from patients and staff about how long they had to wait to get an appointment and how difficult it was to get through on the phone.

“We were looking to do things completely differently.”

Now Dr Arnott says, “I’m more confident that no-one is stuck at home worrying about not being able to contact us.”
